Service Description

Learn beginning wheel throwing techniques, such as how to center clay and form basic shapes to create your in this five week class. Each week we will cover a different form (week 1: cups, week 2: bowls, week 3: mugs, week 4: plates and then week 5 will be glazing and practice on whichever form you need the most help with. Most participants can expect to make more than one of each form per class. Cost of the class includes the 5 weeks of instruction, a 25 lb. bag of clay, use of all tools, glazes, and firing fees. Additional bags of clay (25 lb) would be available for purchase for $25 if needed. We have 10 pottery wheels, so class size is limited to that number. Please register in advance. THERE IS NO CLASS ON SUNDAY, DECEMBER 11!
